H U R Tby CalliopeKelComment by SandyP: What a fanTASTIC photo for this challenge!!! It has such a nostalgic, photojournalistic look to it! I really think this one should win a ribbon! It's one of the few (and I mean VERY few) that stand out as being interesting and "saying something". I love this! 10 |

buttermilkby CalliopeKelComment by Neuferland: LOL! I love the expression on the cow's face, LOL!
Okay, GREAT idea, original, unique and well composed. So why did it not do better? Well, my opinion, for what it's worth (about 2 cents on EBay) is the cow is dull. You desaturated the rest of the picture and not sure just how you went about it but the cow is dull and to me when a shot is desaturated the color part that is left out should really stand out. I know some are very subtle and such but this just begs for a more vibrant color of Yellow, not literally sunshine yellow but more than what is showing. Also, the line around the cow seems very percise, no give or take between it and the background. Maybe a slight blur or feather the wand a bit to allow a little less rigidity? Hope these comments help.
