Cool shot! Love many things about this image.

-The expression on the boys face.

-Interesting location....though the background could be considered distracting, I find it adds to the feel of the environment.

-Dynamic angle. It looks like its right out of a film.

Now.....that being said I do wish you had cropped the hand out of the lower left corner and maybe made the choice in the back a little more visible.

Nice job overall...one of the better ones of the challenge. 9

After reading your Photographer's Comments, my thought is; you did all that to get this?? You would be wise to spend some time in your software tutorials or get some besic editing books to study. Not trying to be sarcastic or derogatory, but this shot could only have looked better right out of the camera.

The focus in this image is extremely poor, it almost hurts the eyes to look at, cannot tell that it is rice without the title...sorry.

The lack of focus makes me evaluate it on its texture alone, not necessarily a bad thing, but not ideal for this granular theme.
