What does the height have to do with the photograph? Not necessary.

I love the rays of the sunset. Very pretty. And I love the "just one more" idea.

Pretty sunset and it is great to see other subjects in the image. To make it better, I would have moved down closer to the water and put the kids nearer the sunset. But still very nice!

I really like these kinds of images - simple, but seem to quietly hint there's a story to tell (whether there really is or not.) This one is well done. Duotone works well here, and the focus of the image (the 10) is well placed. Technicals are good - focus is crisp. The shadows imply it's about mid-day. If you get the chance (and you're at all interested in doing so) try reshooting this when it's overcast to get rid of the harsh shadow, or better yet, when the shadow might be longer or at a slightly different angle. I offer this suggestion because I'd like to see either more of the door, or less of it, going back to the "story to tell" kind of idea.

Oh my gosh! First, congratulations on meeting your prediction by getting a new personal best and a 6.0+ score! Second, and more importantly, this is a breathtaking photograph! The perspective is excellent and the composition, with the soft water and the line of clouds, frames the line of boats beautifully. The colors are soft and not too overpowering, adding to the peaceful, serene feeling this image beautifully imparts. Very, very well done!
