I imagine that this bench brings back memories, and that the shadow represents for grandfather's life. The leaves and shadow work well together to show the passage of time, and the placement of the bench in the left upper edge adds to the sense of looking back while time marches on. It is the creative use of space that adds that touch of tension that makes this more than just a picture of pretty leaves. Your title did help me to understand the message your image conveys. Nicely done.

I like the composition, but it is a tad bit soft and has a bit of the snapshot look. WIthout the title, it would not meet the challenge, but with the title, it gave me a very emotional response to the image - so in that sense, very well done.

horse is nice subject, while the fence isn't. The leaves take too much role here, and it's a bit hard to get autumn feeling just because leaves are quite light.

Beautiful leaves and horse. Not crazy about the tiny string fence that seems to say, "Keep off the grass!" Otherwise, a great photo that deserves high billing.
