With an aperture priority set to a higher f-number, and ISO set to 400, you may have been able to achieve a greater depth of field to get more of the subject in focus, without a degradation of color quality.

I really like the halo effect you have going here. I'm not real fond of the wall paper though and I can't really read your facial expression. It's almost a look of "I don't want to see this when I shoot you" or maybe "I don't want you to splatter my clothes when I shoot you." Either way it looks almost as if you're reluctant to pull the trigger which sort of makes the picture odd for me.
