I can sort of see what I'm looking at (a vent cover or similar), but I think it's still an abstract. The shallow DOF, and the only thing being in focus being all the way to the left of the image sort of pull my eye over to only that side, I wonder if I would like a different focal point or more DOF better.

Aesthetic: You have got an eye for something as picturesque as this one but the image really lacks on many things.

Technical: The focus seems to be too soft. Also slower shutter speed would have helped capture more vivid colors.

Challenge: Anything would fit in "free study", so everything is good here :)

Conclusion: I feel this could have been great "posture" picture if the focus was sharp and colors were vivid. Somehow the photo seems to be right out of camera and had lots of potential for post-processing to make it really stand out. Try sharpening, contrast and some work with Hue/Saturation ...and you will really get a whole new picture from this one. I really feel tempted to try my hands on this one.

Whatever that is on the right side sitting out there alone is a bit distracting, but other than that I like the photo.
