RYANby mandyturnerComment by christie3: It looks like the focus in this shot was on the tree instead of the boy, unfortunately.

RYANby mandyturnerComment by troberge: This is a stunningly natural shot. I love the contrast between the boy and the bark of the tree behind him. I think this is a wonderful shot for framing and placing on the wall to be admired! Well Done! |

RYANby mandyturnerComment by rwouthuis: Nice shot. I really like the composition. The longer I lk at this, the more it looks to me that focus is stronger on the tree trunk than on the boys eyes. |

RYANby mandyturnerComment by Tammer: A nice portrait of a very serious looking boy, I like the off center composition. |

RYANby mandyturnerComment by loriprophoto: Nice moody shot, wish he had smiled a bit, the point of focus appears to be on the bark slightly behind him rather than on his face |

Waiting For Youby mandyturnerComment by geewhy: I had the intention of talking my daughter into posing for an almost identical shot to this for the challenge..however, I`m glad I didn`t as I would have struggled to better this one.
Very nice shot which should have finished higher in my opinion. |

RYANby mandyturnerComment by madison461: Do you want us to look at him or the tree? I would have cropped most of the right side off. It's OK to center portraits. Very handsome young man! |
