My parents, just yesterday, decided that their cats are now strictly 'Indoor Only' after a particularly rare bird ended up in pieces under my dad's desk. I like the poses you caught them in, they seem particularly innocent...

You might try cropping out some of the right side of the photo as all the space isnt totally necessary,

There is more detail in the tree trunk than in Ryan's eyes, which is not desirable for a portrait. However the composition, lighting and expression are very good.
