The Riessersee and the Zugspitzeby The EskimoComment by option: Ha! Well, it looks like my comment on processing was off-base! I still think it looks over processed the way I described... bah. Shows how much I know...
Sucks about the DQ though, 2099?? |

Woooooshby The EskimoComment by Blackstarlight0: I like the use of movement in this photo. it makes the train look like one long conintuous car rather than 20 or 30 different ones. |

The Riessersee and the Zugspitzeby The EskimoComment by levyj413: Oops. My DQ was for an incorrectly set date, too. Take solace in the fact that you'll probably get a lot more views than if you'd been in the middle of the pack. :)
Anyway, it's a beautiful shot, and one that, despite the DQ, should help you remember the joy of standing in that spot. I'm in the camp that likes how it looks like it's on canvas. |

The Riessersee and the Zugspitzeby The EskimoComment by Skip: a beautiful place, for sure, but there's something horribly pixelated in this image in the trees and water. given the sharpness of the mountains and sky, something just doesn't seem right. |

The Riessersee and the Zugspitzeby The EskimoComment by Ben: Nicely composed, nicely exposed, nice leading lines drawing the eye into the photo.
However, it seems over processed and that cloud peeping over the mountains is a prime example, also the trees and the water lack any punch, maybe they needed a boost in saturation to liven the shot up a little. |
