J O S Hby brandonarbiniComment by LindaLee: I don't really consider a photo of an inanimate object to be a portrait, however,
that aside; I like that you photographed it against negative space. I like the basic composition, but would have preferred to see a tighter crop horizontally, probably cropping right below the lower "point" of the mane, or alternatively, a vertical shot showing the entire body. The lighting is good, and it is a nice clear photo. |

J O S Hby brandonarbiniComment by Azrifel: Pretty good picture, don't think that the bigger black space at the left was really necessary. The lighting & exposure is very good, as well as the depth of focus.
It put a smile on my face when I saw it. |

Another Year Gone Byby brandonarbiniComment by Davenit: I like it. Would have liked to see her looking into the camera though. Also a little more light on the subject and a little less in the BG... Great thought... |

Another Year Gone Byby brandonarbiniComment by bod: A nice idea with great composition. I just feel it would have been better with the subject looking at the camera and looking happy! |

J O S Hby brandonarbiniComment by autool: One thing for sure you didn't have any trouble getting him to stay still. I think a little smile would have helped though. Nice everything else. |

J O S Hby brandonarbiniComment by wingy: Well.. the shot does a nice job of capturing that statue/figurine (the framing, contrast, focus and everything work well) but that's really all it does is show us a figurine, straight on with a black background. Forgive my bluntness, but I'm not personally inclined to consider that to be very valueable. 3 |
