Brace and Bitby DianaComment by Bear_Music: It's a strong, even brutalist view of the tool, but its potential is betrayed by the lighting and the framing. The defined vertical of the bit thru the handle would be better placed another 15-20% to the right, I think. And the lighting could be worked with to make it sing a lot more. |

Brace and Bitby DianaComment by autool: Composition: 4, The brace looks out of place, boring a hole in a board next to the wall.
Technical: 4, Subject could be moved away from wall to disperse the strong shadow caused by your flash.
Appeal: 3, I would have tried to make a story out of this someway, maybe by adding a worker. Hell I don't know but it needs something to make it pop.

Brace and Bitby DianaComment by Falc: lighting could do with some work. Theres a pretty bad flash shadow but the main issue is the lighting is so flat. This might have been better using natural light from a window with an old guy bent over using the tools |
