I see what you mean about the comment - but it left me seething at the time. So many assummptions and a dig at my morality/integity.

I'm useless with NI - but to be honest, I am in an internet cafe and it looks more overdone than it does on my screen at home! Way more!!

I wouldn't worry about what you are referring to.. go read the comments on 20 - 30 other candid entries, and you'll see what I'm talking about. It's throw away :)

As for the photo, the only thing I don't like is the amount of smoothing. Falsens it up a bit, takes me out of the moment. Lovely candid otherwise.

Just to clarify - these children are not "underpoverished", they are normal healthy children enjoying a day at the beach. I live in Pattaya Thailand, a holiday resort, so this is normal everyday life. I did not go out looking for poverty stricken, undernourished children to create a bad cliched image.
No clothes, does not equal poor - Children not in the USA with no clothes does not equal poor.....Look at the man in his trunks in my portfolio - no clothes - does HE look poor or "underpoversished"?
