A good telephoto lens with a high ISO, handheld? It's possible. Star trails with the moon would have been a dead giveaway. |
HOW COULD YOU HAVE START TRAILS WITH THE MOON, MAN. YOU CAN'TTTTTTTTTTTT. |

Fall Explodesby fd3rdComment by m_a_r_c: i like it, all the colours to be expected of the time of year but not cluttered up with images of leaves, branches and trees, which i'd already seen before (a few times in my life) |

Chesapeake Crabmanby fd3rdComment by fd3rd: Thank you all for your comments. Landz, in this region this would be considered a cliche Chesapeake photo and even without a caption it would say "Chesapeake." But in areas where people are not familiar with the Chesapeake Bay I see your point. Robert, this is a place we visit often and next time we're there I'll try your suggestion of lowering the perspective to raise the pilings into the skyline. |

Chesapeake Crabmanby fd3rdComment by LandzEnca: Title dependent. But other than that, this is a wonderful shot. Perfect exposure, very nice composition. Love the colors. But even with a title spelled out, the letter C just doesn't sink in well. |

Chesapeake Crabmanby fd3rdComment by Bear_Music: It's really unfortunate that you allowed the tops of the columns to be tangent to the horizon. Lowering the camera 12 or 18 inches would have made a world of difference. |
