very nice shot. original ideas are my favorite. i think that there are other parts of the photo that i would have improved. there isnt too much contrast in the picture (pug= blond; wall=yellow; floor=light brown) maybe a red wall would have looked good but i understand not painting your house to take a picture. the other aspect that i would have improved is that there is little depth to the picture. every object in the photo is about the same distance from the camera. im refrehed by the concept which is what makes it better than most of the photos in this challenge. im soooooo tired of apples :P 7

Overall.......I like your idea. Your dog behaved so well....what a great sport!
Seems like the lighting was too low per the shadow behind the dog. Add another light source and better focus and you'd have a 7. Hope this helps.

Poor Pug. No trademark shots next week. Not much to say really. No major technical flaws; just a few compositional points. I dislike the corner line of the wall (although not sure what you could have doen about it). The colors are all similar so it lacks contrast and 'pop'.
