Super Fly IIby ShutterPugComment by BeckyT: I really like this fly shot better than the previous one. This one is more crisp and I like the composition. |

the awakeningby ShutterPugComment by BeckyT: Great photo for just playing around. I really like reptile shots. They have so much texture. Great job. |

Llama Llama Frozen Llamaby ShutterPugComment by kteach: I think the idea of a different pov might have worked here... lower perhaps, and maybe with a shallower dof? I also think there might be a bit of extra space to the left of the trees that could be cropped out. I do like the curve of the fence, nad the llamas, and I don't think the processing is necessarily a problem here either. But, I think I might have taken off a point just for getting that silly song stuck in my head with your title! :P (j/k) |

Featheredby ShutterPugComment by Melethia: I don't think the blur necessarily added to this shot. Blur is hard - for examples of how to do it well, see nshapiro's portfolio. His secret is color - very rich color - and smoothness. Everything is smooth and blends well. I've tried to emulate it and failed. This is a bit more jagged than smooth, if that makes sense, and really needs some contrasting color as well. |
