Didn't get a chance to vote on all entries and missed this one. I like the geometry, gray/black colors -- would like a bit more symetry in the upper 1/3 of the frame (minor point as the rest of the framing works) -- subject is too flat and lack dimention or interest to make it stand out from all the entries (600+) so I probably would have scored it 4-5. (PS I appreciate your candor and notes on my circle entry!)

Thought I'd return the favor -- fyi 6 - muted tones and the play of yellow/straw and green works well... what kept it from an 8? the light areas kept pulling my eye to the less-interesting outside edges. I agree with many of the other commenters re: the grainy feel - adds to the dry/wet contrast :)
