Very nice. I'm fascinated by shadows in photography (and yet I didn't enter this challenge--dumb!) This shows very keen observation and a willingness to try a fresh perspective. I love the green in the otherwise monochromatic scheme (to me, this is far more effective use of a single area of color than the much abused and overused selective desaturation technique).

I like this picture a lot, the one thing I can say is it looks a bit crooked and I would crop tighter on the left side to keep an even space from pillar to edge as on the right side.

simple colors work well to accent the lines... agree with the no-border decision on this one (more lines would have disrupted the image imho)
