I love this and it was a particularly inspired choice for the challenge it was in. In this case, "negative space" is the white floor, which is made into an exciting shape by the black rectangles cutting into it. Dangling in this negative space are feet (which in dreams often represent the phallus) and testicles. Here we have the battle between black and white, death and sex! It's epic, man!

Notice the dog is in a posture of sleep. Is this all his dream? Are we all his dream? Or is this our dream? The dog simply is, his ass presented to us in a gesture of submission to his fate... but do not be mistaken, this is courage not cowardice. The French Bull is our hero. He lies at the center of our perception. He is we as we are he and we are all together. Goo goo ga joob!

This is a pretty good shot and fits the challenge well. I'm just concerned about the dark marks on the left side. They may be clouds, but with the rest of the sky looking blown out, they look more like smudges of some kind to me. A shame, because the overall composition is good.

Interesting post processing, it works well to hide the over exposed sky. I like the composition, almost as if we are dead and looking out at the churchyard where we have been laid to rest.
