Great shot and the stark shadows and texture work well. The dark pine tree I feel is a bit out of place. It detracts from the stark feeling of the building and doesn;t add much because of lack of shadow detail. My also be worth experimenting with getting the sky totally white or totally grey rather than the current variable shading.

This is excellent. The eye folows the straight of the building right into the softer lines of the pine tree. Really nice. (I wish the cloud had a cloud or too, but then again, that might busy it up too much.)

more of a product still photo to me than a macro/close up... not saying you cant have a macro product still photo but just imo i dont think you went close up enough.
