Conspicuous Barnsby RistyzComment by jaxed: Deserving of a higher placement. This one stood out to me as “outside the box” compared to the rest of the entries. It meets the challenge and is beautifully composed. Great job:) |

Dancing in the Parkby RistyzComment by tpoc: let's hear it for hips! hooray!
interesting costumes to photograph! the dancer in red really jumps out of the image. i wonder how this image would look with different framing or crops...drawing the eye to different places of importance within the image (e.g. cropping to two dancers, including more torso and less skirt, etc...) fun shot! |

Dancing in the Parkby RistyzComment by CNovack: Certainly a colorful and interesting photo. But we see that they are dancer's yet the way you composed the shot does nothing to give the viewer the sense of movement - action- dancing. Pulling back just a little more and maybe just focusing on two of the dancers such that we see their feet and their arms moving to the beat of the music would have greatly improved the capture. We would "See" the dancing going on in the shot instead of relying on the title and costumes to tell us so. |

Conspicuous Barnsby RistyzComment by HVGB_photos: Complementary colours are pairs of colours that contrast strongly when compared to each other.
The red of the barns is lost against all the green, brown and blue toned background. Your shot would have been a more successful demonstration of complementary contrast if you had shot from a different angle so the barns aren't so far apart, and cropped tighter around the red and shown some of the green foliage around it as contrast. |
