A definite split - either they get it or they don't. I get frustrated sometimes with the subjectivity of it all. In my perspective, photography is, above all, art. If others get it, good. If they don't, they should at least respect the artists intention.

Technically, this is a wonderful image. It has mystery and intrigue as well as beauty and visual appeal. I didn't vote in this challenge but if I had, I would have given it a 7 or so.

Great comp and use of negative space...Face looks almost too smooth. A little less noise ninja or neat image would leave a bit more texture. (IMO) Still a very strong photo. good luck with the shallenge.
