Under an Alien Moon by AlexSaberiComment by boxImmortal: This is absolutely amazing. I just have no other words to describe it. I love the green glow, the orange clouds... you can even distinctly see the different colours of the stars. |

Under an Alien Moon by AlexSaberiComment by David Ey: "OH JUST ONE MORE THING! I really think that having a no editing challenge will do DPc the world of good. It really does help u know your camera and how to use it to get the right photo to start with, rather than one u adjust in ever way possible."
ABSOLUTELY |

Under an Alien Moon by AlexSaberiComment by jackal9: Awesome shot!!! I would be interested in how you got this capture as well, long exposure and spot light to illuminate?? Just a guess...I also have to agree and disagree with the comment on non post processing, yes it is important to compose and (for lack of a better term) get right as many elements of a photo as possible in camera, but as Ansel Adams once said the important thing is the final image, how you get there is of little importance...(not an exact quote I am sure, but you get the idea) if the final image is good how you arrive at it is of little consequence...IMO. Photoshop usage, or manipulation is an art form in and of itself...you have to have the image you want to portray in mind before you start to get the end result you want, and I know (at least for me) Photoshop (or similar programs) are not a lot of help since I am not very adapt at using them, lol. Anyway, off my soap box...GREAT PHOTO!!!! Job well done...congrats!!! |
