Your title sums up so much of China and even overseas Chinese culture. Luckily I live near Chinatown in NYC, since I travel far less these days. I used to spend much, much time in China doing business. Hope to see some more.

Ah, Kunming, Spring City. A lovely place. I wonder if you traveled to the border of Burma (call it Myanmar) and Vietnam to the south, Xixuan Banna as it is called. It can be a hazardous journey (at least when I did it in the 80s) but well worth it for the lack of foreigners and a boat ride down the Mekong. I'm liking these photos a lot.
