I don't understand how people say this isn't rural! Living in the country, I remember many a breakfast where I sat on the front porch and saw scenes like this. This was my 10 and is an amazing capture! Beautifully done and definitely deserves the ribbon you earned.

Great series - as you say, made by the exquisite light. I might have to make another trip south of the river this autumn (I try to keep it to less than three times a year).

Oh my!!! this must be one of the greatest photographys I have ever seen. Even without the ducks it would have been a great one but now that they are there it's a masterpiece. The picture really sets me in a cozy mood, I will defenitly +fav this one. Great work!!!

Fooled me. :) Someone had mentioned they thought this was yours during the challenge. I thought this park only had elk, these look like mule deer.
