1960by GoscheComment by Jutilda: I wish the dice and bear in the backseat were missing. Love the red tones of the car interior. |

1960by GoscheComment by macrothing: 5 - Met the Challenge (kind of, see criticism), a photo of this put into a time capsule would depict the era fairly well for future generations. I think this shot has a lot of potential. Criticism; I would really have liked to have seen a wider frame here, incorporating both front seats (if not the full car). The bear detracts in my opinion and doesn't feel authentic, and just detracts from the style. Same for the dice and not sure what the green is on the steering wheel, but for me if it was not there it would be a better photograph in my opinion. I really like the red in this hot, coupled with the white and I think that you missed capturing the real 'glory' of this style of car, especially emphasizing it (the style) for the era/Challenge. The 'green' background is nice, and whilst another 'plain' background may have worked better, I think you could still have done a lot with what you have. Just for me, in my opinion, a more symmetrical shot, even from the same viewpoint you are at with this, would have made this a much better photograph in my opinion. |

1960by GoscheComment by bikefreak: removing the bear and the stuff by the shifter would have been better. Interesting perspective. |

1960by GoscheComment by amjlt: I like the feel of this image. However, I am still not quite sure if I could do with or without the giant Winnie the Pooh. On one hand it is pretty cute sitting there in the back....on the other, this type of Pooh merchandise wasn't available until the late 60's (I think, not until Disney picked up the Pooh label?). Anywhoo, I didn't nick pick on that detail when voting.......7 it's just too cute and whimsical. |
