Shooting up into a tree can produce an interesting shot. The line of the trunk here is a nice leading line. However, the image is rather small so the detail does not show very well. Also, the lighting is quite flat. A different angle of view may have helped to emphasize the triangle formed by the small branches near the top, maybe having the trunk enter the frame from the corner.
