classic studioby PurpleFireComment by ShorterThanJesus: This looks like a fairly ordinary pose but something has to be different. Her head looks way too big in proportion to her body, either some weird angles are playing tricks or someone did some creative photoshopping.
Otherwise, the lighting seems like an attempt at a paramount/butterfly lighting setup, generally a good choice but I think you've got the light a bit too high (nose shadow seems to extend on to the lip) and it also seems like it is not perfectly centered (shadow on her right shoulder). |

the long walk homeby PurpleFireComment by tmhalling: Nice panoramic. I like the conversion to black and white and the fact that it is slightly underexposed as it adds to the feeling of desolation in this photo. Well done. |

free study VII out takeby PurpleFireComment by Spork99: I like the subject looking at the camera, in a way that engages the viwer rather than making the viewer an outsider, looking in. Makes it less voyeuristic.
As for the underwear label, it is distracting, but being so small, it should be easy to clone it out and make it just black.
Thanks for sharing. |

Jay & T: Club Entryby PurpleFireComment by slickchik: nice picture and congrats.
i think i would like it better if the woman was not wearing glasses or if her face was turned more to her right. maybe her hands would be better if they were at your waist...more symmetry.
