the red in the background grabs my attention more than the earrings. The color is a little too strong and it also clashes with the purple color of the stones. Nice detail and focus on the earrings though

Good idea and nice presentation. I think this would have had a little more impact of there wasn't as much reflection coming off of the left earing. Would a polarizer have fixed this? It might have taken out the sparkle of the gems as well. It's hard to say. Another thing is that the jewlery appears to be a little out of focus. Nice composition though!

Nice photo...but I'd keep working on it if I were you. Your right,it is slightly overexposed and your losing detail in the center of your face. Try taking out the rings,......just to see what happens, draws the center of focus from your face. I like it.

Hi Tara, I do find this an interesting shot, interpreted differently for the challenge. And yes, I do agree with you about the score being rather low but the competition was tough on this challenge. I didn't vote but I would have given it a 6 or 7. I think if the green ball was a little more obvious, it might have made it better.
