An interesting picture. The horse blends into the background though, which robs it of impact. Another angle may have helped, perhaps down very low and closer in with a wide angle would have placed at least the horses head against the sky if no other contrasting background could be found. It̢۪s a shame that the rear of the plough has been clipped off.

Thanks to all for your effort to comment.

I know the flair of the window would get me lower points, but as I was DQed just before in another challenge for something I didn't know I wasn't allowed to do, I got scared of doing too much to this one, even if it was advanced editing. I'm not to good yet at post processing and didn't quite know how to get rid of it without making it look worse.

I took this photo, standing on the attic stairs and there wasn't any other position to achieve the same atmosphere and the sun was still shining bright.

Back to comment. I love the idea and the execution on this...cool shadows, great backdrop. The yellow tones really set this apart nicely. Good job.
