The background item on the right and the light-colored objects behind detract from your subject, which while interesting, might be even more interesting if photographed from the front. I can also see where the paper you put under it ends - may need to get a bigger "backdrop" or shoot from a different angle.

Although the light enhances the texture of the glass, I feel it's too much. Almost intrusive. The mirror is a little distracting as well, since we can see your reflection. I think if you had pointed the lens level with the frog (rather than the tilt downward), reduced the light and used a tighter dof (throwing the background out completely), you would have had some magical results here...

This isnt really bad. just lacks some WoW factor.the photo seems done technically well. sharp, and the lightings not too bad. Just a little too straight forward. maybe the frog on a real plant or something would have given in something extra.

That's funny! Appears they don't want any part of your photography outing. ;^) I know you don't want to hear this...too bad you didn't have a more dramatic sky. Would have been much stronger. You don't keep a spare set of dark brooding clouds in your back pocket? He-he.
