Wow... this almost brought me to tears... I have a very close friend who lost her son to cancer, so this one touches me. I wish I could find the face painter and give her a hug.

I like how you used a black background to further enhance the cliche aspect to this. :P My only issue with this is the lighting. It's ok but just doesn't do more to enhance and shape the flower.
