Game_v1by Man_Called_HorseComment by picturesr4koolkids: ok,
nice color, great light, nice texture, b&w good, nice lines, however, there is another pix in this challenge that has trees that shows the 'collection' aspect of this challenge. I'm sorry to say, I don't get that impression with this pix. It looks like you opened the back door to your house and took a quick snap shot of the fist thing you saw. |

Comming to Townby Man_Called_HorseComment by Maverick: There's a lot of potential for this subject (I'm guessing Santa's supports are cloned out?). That said, I'd suggest leaving a little room in front - rudolph's front hooves are almost cut off, as well as giving some room in the frame for the sleigh to "fly into". Are these lit at night? That might make for an interesting and more dynamic shot as well. |

Comming to Townby Man_Called_HorseComment by melismatica: There is a quriky, surreal quality to this photo that I really appreciate. I have no idea if it is a happy accident or purely intentional. It's not just that Santa and his reindeer appear to be flying. It is also the odd placement of the tree in the picture plane and the clear blue otherwise empty sky. I might see this in a weird Christmas catalog. |

Hand to Canvasby Man_Called_HorseComment by graphicfunk: Greetings from the critique club:
Now, this is not fair. I am a fan of this image. It was an image that I liked because the subject is very appealing and the capture shows off the b/w media. Everything about this image is pleasing. The background descends into darkness to bring out the foreground, The shadows play well on the ground.
We are now left with a heart warming smile adorned with little bows. The vendor's attire gives the image authenticity and the lighting plays well with those nice little highlights tracing the hat and the vest.
No, my friend. I repeat, this is an image that should have scored much higher and there is nothing I can say to improve it, except to change it, and I like it just as is.
Your images "Lost not Found" , "Dead End" and "Naturally Framed" are in the same class as this one. A very consistent output. Stick to current quality and all will be well. |
