Plate Umpby Man_Called_HorseComment by Brad: Nicely done here. The background supports his environment well.
I think just a little tighter crop may have helped take a lot of the focal point off of his belly away, but then the glove would have been lost showing in the background. |

Plate Umpby Man_Called_HorseComment by jlanoue: Simple, and spot on. I would have liked this portrait more without the dark glasses, but I suspect that's just a personal preference. |

Plate Umpby Man_Called_HorseComment by dsmil: He looks surprised to have his picture taken. Doesn't show any connection between photographer and subject. |

Walking To Practiceby Man_Called_HorseComment by spencerwood: Nice and sharp, good low light, uncomplicated background. The only thing I'm not sure about is the composition. Given he is looking to the left it might have been worth plaing him to the right of the image looking into the empty space on the left |

Walking To Practiceby Man_Called_HorseComment by gjumi: Just a technical note: cutting ones head with the background line, which is going straight at his nose, is quite disturbing. Even the moderately shallow depth of field doesn't help here. Otherwise, technically very well realized photo. |

Calm Before The Stormby Man_Called_HorseComment by Man_Called_Horse: Originally posted by hotpasta: have you dodged and burned the sky in this? looks like there is a halo around him from d and b editing...overall, image OK |
No dodging and burning was done in the post process of this image.
That would be against the basic rule set. |
