riders on the stormby Man_Called_HorseComment by BeingClever: Interesting capture – feels like an old B&W. I think I would have ended up cropping this image almost in half to capture just the riders on the ridge as silhouettes and on the left side to remove the clouds/sky that is overexposed. |

Daughter #2by Man_Called_HorseComment by wetland: Unusual approach to a close up portrait but with all the hair over the eyes not sure it makes as strong an image as it could. |

Daughter #2by Man_Called_HorseComment by dwterry: If only more of the top eye were visible.... I love this sweet tender moment. I hope your family album is full of such pictures! 7 |

Daughter #2by Man_Called_HorseComment by BeingClever: I’ll tell you the absolute first thing that popped into my head and stuck there above all other considerations when I saw this shot. The big hunk of hair over her one eye just completely rules the image. When you do close ups of people in my opinion the eyes make the shot, almost without exception. In this shot with no other elements that would have been intruding – if you had just adjusted that one hunk of hair so you could see her eye it would have made this fantastic. Wispy hair is ok, but almost totally covering the eye becomes a distraction. |

Daughter #2by Man_Called_HorseComment by metoecus: I really like the composition here. There is some kind of noise (perhaps film grain or compression artifacts) in the image that I find a bit distracting, particularly in the highlight on her cheek.
