Excellent idea and very nicely executed. Only 2 things that bother me - the "cables" running across the tree and the red area to the right don't work well with the rest of the image. The small light in the sky is starting to bug me too now!
The backlight is superb though, and the exposure well controlled. A very strong image.

i really like the overall lighting effects in this shot....i just find the big light spot behind the tree to take away from the man a bit and distracting from his being lossed

You found the technique for a magical image. Love the lighting on the tree and landscape. With Advanced editing, if you had cloned out that flashlight and the moon, (for me) this would have been an automatic 10. As it is, a super 7.

I really like this, but the wires really take away from this for me. Great lighting and very crisp though.
