I can relate to this image as my parents have a dog who loves his chew toys. Your black background is nice. I'd love to see stronger lighting to really create a stronger 3D effect.

It's surprising to me that this photograph only recieved one comment for this challenge. While the focus is a bit soft, the composition and set up are pretty decent. I like the vibrancy and rich tones of the green and think they work well with the warm tones of the wood. To make this have a higher score, a bit more sharpening should do the trick.

I like the compostion and the negative space. I'm not sure why the image is so grainy though. It's hard for that subject to be compelling on it's own as an interesting subject of an image.
