I can see the effect you are going for here, but for me, it just doesn't do much. You've lost detail I would have like to see. I'm not saying you didn't do it intentionally, just that for me, it isn't very appealing.

Great idea, and execution. Wonderful idea to have ( if you set this up :) I shouldn't assume that...but i will for this purpose ) the man hold the tool behind him. It's just different enough to add more interest. You can tell that he's a worker from the grit under the nails...adds authenticity and texture. Nice. The composition is very well done as well. Nice work.
