Reminds me of a tv add we have here as vacation traffic is totally paralyzing! Good take, just feel it's a bit dark and some detail is lost.

LOL! The element of celebration is implied, since we can't see your face (well, assuming you are on the right side of the road, LOL!). I love the humor of this photo...it's something most of us can relate to. The S curve of the road is especially nice and you did well capturing enough depth of field throughout. Good for you for taking the time to stop and photograph this scene. A lot of us would have missed the opportunity~

The photo is nice but I have a tingling feeling I personally would have liked it better in colour as it makes this a bit flat in sepia as the different colours of the cars would have directed the attention to them. Also I have to say that you did a sloppy work with darkening the sky, there is a very visible halo around the trees and cliffs. Anyway the composition is nice and this is definately above average in the challenge, I gave this a 6.

what a great concept! i know i do a little happy dance when i see all the traffic heading the opposite direction...perfect for this challenge.
the image looks a bit dark on my monitor, but from the headlights in the shot, it's taken at dusk or dawn! that sky shot and the composition is just terriffic. may you finish high, my friend! (and i've only said that to one other person out of 1/3 of the shots so far...) good luck!

you have some weird glowing in the trees / over USM'd ??
