Picnic Canceledby jjbeguinComment by posthumous: Great portrait. Leading lines are used to make the subject seem imperiled and isolated. She herself, though, seems defiant and tough. This conflict creates a complexity of character in your portrait. 9 |

Picnic Canceledby jjbeguinComment by nordicgirl: Great moment of capture. The picture feels teared appart in trying to capture line and sky. Maybe you should have less concentrated on road and take horizontal picture with part of road field and dramatic sky.Name it Pasing the storm. The lady feels completely out of place and subject...but maybe she was really intentionaly there. Anyway real nice and dramatic shot but I would done it diferently :). |

Can't miss itby jjbeguinComment by Imagineer: This confirms my belief that most DPC voters at this current time are lacking in imagination and a willingness to step away from the safety zone of smooth, safe subjects and sentimentality. You have been robbed here, as have a few others in the challenge, but this is great if tad harsh and suffering a little moire at 640 pixels. What a superb find. |

Can't miss itby jjbeguinComment by sittingonthegrass: A photograph is neither taken nor seized by force. It offers itself up. It is the photo that takes you. One must not take photos. ~ Henri Cartier-Bresson. I think this sums it up best. Message edited by author 2006-09-22 19:39:06. |
