Grandparents and automobiles fill a big part of ones first memories and your choice of subject is to be saluted. The control of light, as well.

I was just surfing thru the site and saw the thumbnail of this shot. Even as a thumbnail this one stands out far and above the rest. I don't think you could have picked a more appropriate setting for your self portrait, as the rugged surroundings only enhances you and your candid glory. Some of my favourite shots are my accidental shots, and your accidental self portrait is a prime example of a "right time, right place" magical moment. Cheers, Sandra.

This made me think. I can remember my grandparents car and the way it smelled and that was forty some years ago. It's funny the things we remember. Nice photo of a good memory! (I hope it's a good one for you!)

This is a lovely shot and I think it shoulda scored higher. It seems some of the voters are pretty narrow on their definition of "yellow"...sheeeesh...settle down I say....grab a nice glass of wine and come back and enjoy the pretty pictures!!
