I hate "shame about" comments, as if the composition couldn't possibly have been intended. I entered the last pet portrait challenge with a cropped ear kitty, so I'm part of the club too!

I rated this one of my 9s - I liked her direct and serious gaze, just a tad pissed off. Lighting highlights in the eyes are very nice.

Well - this is a fantastic photo. I can't believe the cropped ear issue - I mean, come ON. I agree that it gives the image a kick, as opposed to being your standard stock photo crap we see here all the time. *huff*puff*
