I was going to start doing my own developing again, but then I found a local shop that does all black and white by hand for a really reasonable price. When you scan, do you have the auto sharpening turned off? Maybe that's why you're getting the accentuated grain? And different film developer combos can affect the grain...even temperature. There are so many variables. |

For these I was using Ilford Delta 400...it has a really nice grain to it. |
