The Good Wifeby RKTComment by Krisby: I love it,, the focus work is so unique! If i have learned anything from sending in photos here is that there will ALWAYS be that one that makes an uncalled for comment, don't let them get you down :) |

I'm sure if Rachel ever takes a photograph for the small minded, it'll be a hit with kivgaen!

I would have marked that comment as helpful ;) | |
Because in a community like DPC there's a very wide range of social skills, as well as opinions ;) |

The Good Wifeby RKTComment by JulietNN: Don't worry about that comment, I got something that was like that but way tamer than yours. If you look at the comments from this user, you will figure out that they are in a photoclub of some sorts. Let it slide off your back like water,
PS I loved your entry, original, thoughtful and the blur is amazing! |

What he said... it's not the sentiment that's objectionable, it's how it was delivered.
As for the conceptual nature of the shot, the more I look at it the more it makes me think of a further subtext, possibly intended, possibly not - the choice of focus placement and how it aligns with a certain area of the body, combined with a title that makes us wonder what constitutes a "good" wife. Is is only domesticity that's implied here by the apron, or something else? |
