I think it's not only a spectacular usage of the lense but a fantastic approach to the challenge subject and a great study. Composition is static but I don't find it to be a flaw, it's solid and grabs the viewer and won't let go. The focus is exceptional and I think that, with rare exceptions, it makes sense that a LB shot has a distinct focal point.
