faithby RKTComment by jomari: To me she looks like the figurehead of a sunken ship, but she looks toward the surface light and her faith is undiminished. |

Slipby RKTComment by nam: Lovely colors and choices in depth of field - sensuous and diaphanous. |

Slipby RKTComment by Ecce_Signum: My first thoughts were 'Mantillas' then I read your comments and was very (very) wrong. Your focus (and lack of it) is excellent here. |

faithby RKTComment by Ecce_Signum: Looking at the thumb I was thinking underwater so was (pleasantly) surprised when viewing at 100%. The focus falloff at the edges keeps my eyes within the image and the creased background works really well :) (I think I've worked out the angle now). |

faithby RKTComment by pixelpig: Interesting. Ambiguous. Nice title. It looks like a dream of flying. |

faithby RKTComment by ubique: I've looked at dozens (it'd be hundreds, really) of your pictures, and never seen anything like this. I can hardly believe you did it, which is no criticism of you or the picture, it's just that I was surprised, as if I came upon an album of Grace Slick singing Streisand songs. I'd listen to it, just as I look at this. Grace's DNA would still shine through on 'People', just as your tones and understatement shine through in this.
Actually, on reflection I'm wrong. Half wrong. Grace Slick could not sing 'People'. But you certainly can do this. So it's a pleasant surprise after all.
Thank you. |
