The composition is stunning and exciting. But this image comes to the top for me more because it is somewhat unique to so-called first-world people and it is captured here so perfectly. The machines are the paintbrushes. Sketching a fleeting cloud across a clear summer sky. A puppet show that instills more awe than shock. The rumbles cause people to go to their windows - not to their basements. The audience is thankful to be on this side of the equation.

THe framing a treatment work really well. The monochromatic tone keeps it focused on the composition and subjects rather than the colors which we can imagine unconsciously if we so desire.
