We'll do the nice things first. The choice of colors was very well selected. The shoes show nice wear for your choice of making them antique looking. Now for the bad things. The composition could have been better. The tip of the shoe is off frame and hurts the shot a bit. The subject is not completely in focus and suffers a bit there. The cropping seemed a bit tight. Last but not least "How many times has your mother told you not to put your shoes on the nice new floor?"

Awkward crop, losing the left toe. Should be a portrait composition maybe, and the pristine wood pannelling doesn't suit the title at all. It also seems that the floor is more sharpply focused than the boots.

This is a really nice sepia, and i would be intersted to know which filter you used. The front of the boots seme to be outside of the cameras DOF. Be weary of where your frame ends in camera.

This would be a perfect picture in a long hallway in a house decorated with antiques. The lighting is great, composure is almost perfect (slight miss on the facing left toe), and the color tone is real nice, not as harsh as black and white.
