In my haste, I put a stupid title on this photograph. It is Seattle, Washington, USA. I took it three hours before the submission deadline and just titled it its nickname, The Emerald City. I love how so many members appreciated the lighting. The sun was just about to go below the horizon in the west and this is looking east toward the city. It also helped that the usual dark, gray, dreary sky was unusually crystal clear blue. I was pleasantly surprised at the blue reflections in the windows, I didn't expect that effect. To all of those who saw what I wanted you to see, thank you! Someone once said that timing is everything in photography.

Wow, a stunning looking city - all the buildings are colour coordinated! Must remember to look where this was shot.
Composition is excellent and I am so jealous of that clear blue sky. Great work, well done.

Interesting red cast to everything... seems like a late afternoon/sunset image, but facing away from the sun. I think it would work well as a stock photo.

Nice cityscape photo. Great DOF on this shot. Could've used a bit more exposure I think, or a little more sun. I like the stuff right down on the water, but it could use a little more detail. Overall a pretty nice pic though.
