Shape of natureby AnnaPComment by pipersd: the contrast between the brightness and shadows on the leaves is a little distrating. nice composition. |

Take me home!by AnnaPComment by rhino72: I like the selection (you did well isolating the toy), but the chicken wire and shed in the background are distracting. I think this would've been better with a shallower depth of field. |

A bicycle with peanut butterby AnnaPComment by loseme: *Critique Club*
"A bicycle with peanut butter" obviously by the titlle meets the crazy requirements of the Pick Two challenge.
I think based on the challenge it was hard to come up with a pretty picutre, by I do like the artistic feel of the image. I really like how smooth and balanced the peanut butter is, you did not just throw it on. I really like the way you shot this a little darker and edgier possibly to give more of that artistic feel. The glow from the piece that hold the petal (sorry for the lack of terminology) shows a nice focus and allows it too feel more balanced. The levels in the piece flow very naturally nothing is harsh or forced.
Excellent close up. Not too bad of a placement, but personally I thought it would finish higher I gave it a 7. Keep up the good work. |

Let's play!by AnnaPComment by LoudDog: Greetings from the Critique Club Anna,
Cool Border collies! I have two myself.
You received some really good comments on this that I feel offer you a lot of insight. The brick wall and the framing alone would make for a really good shot alone, and the dogs playing in the snow would also make for a good shot. With both in the same shot they are competing for attention and overwhelm the viewer. When I look at the photo I see the brick wall, and then itâs like âhey there are two dogs down there too.â One or the other would be better for me.
Technical wise, the snow is very over exposed. Shooting a photo with part snow and part not snow is difficult. Also, the photo is not really sharp and could use a little tweeking of the colors.
Hope you find this helpful. Good luck on future challenges!
