Great shot, beautiful! Perfect crop. Meets the challenge! ("this basic shape is clearly shown as a key element"). Makes me feel melancholy and peace at the same time. The title does nothing for me, but fortunately the photo stands on it's own. I want to give this a 9 just because I am reluctant to call anything perfect, but I keep being drawn to it...so THAT deserves a 10. Good luck!

The image is enhanced greater because the majority of the sky action is captured within the frame

I almost missed the ghostly figure on the path in front of the blast of water. Because their red shirt blends in so well with the orange hillside, their shoes were the thing that caught my eye. This image would be a bit more dream-like if the figure was more prominent.

Intitial Impact: This is a very beautiful scene. The first thing I look at is the person in the photo then to the rocks, then the river, then the sky. My eye goes where I think you want it to go.

Sharpness: Focus is good all around the photo.

Composition: I like the composition. The rock on the right is cut off but that doesn't take away from your photo.

Overall: I like it the only things I would change is try not to lose all the detail in the face. It is hard because of the distance. Maybe bump the greens up a little to make the moss on the rocks pop a little more. Judging from the title of the image I would have had the subject stand on the farthest edge. That would hold a bet5ter meaning to me. Maybe brighten up the clouds on the right a touch.
